Dr. Kenneth Giffune

Dr. Kenneth GiffuneDr. Giffune has oversight responsibility for four major areas:  Facilities, Human Resources, Purchasing, and Training and Development.  He has been with PAR for over twenty-three years.  Previous positions include the Vice President of Human Resources, Director of Compensation and Training and Development, Manager of Compensation and Benefits, Junior Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Representative.

For twenty years he has held several adjunct instructorships at two colleges in the State University of New York system – the Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome and Empire State College.  He also holds that position with Keuka College, a private institution in Keuka Park, NY.  He is a subject matter expert, in Collective Bargaining and Labor Relations, Compensation Management, Decision Making, Human Resource Management and Information Systems, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Policy, Staffing, Strategic Planning and Total Quality Management.  He has also taught Composition, Short Fiction and Technical Writing at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York.  In addition, Dr. Giffune has served as a board member for several not–for–profit organizations in his community.

Upon graduation from Colgate University with a B.A. degree in English, Dr. Giffune served three years as a Marine Artillery Officer.  Following his release from active duty, he returned to Colgate University where he received his M.A.T. degree in English and embarked upon a ten-year career in secondary education as an English Teacher, Assistant Principal and Head Football Coach.  While in education, he completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Boston University.  His career in education culminated in the position of Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Administration for one of the largest school districts in New York State.
